Double Double Promo_Stan Chipuma

I didnt know about Stan Chipuma until Echalenga mentioned that she wanted his music. I was able to get his album and do a background check on him. Here is true Zambian music at its best. I find that Gospel artists make really good music that is always overlooked because in most cases its not played on radio.

Anatha Level,Ty2

Here is the brand new Ty2 album called Anatha Level. I am waiting to see what you guys say about this album because there was no hype around it at all. I was even surprised to find it in a record store,sometime back Chali had said he was working on a new Ty2 album but I am surprised it came out and there was no announcement or maybe I didnt just get the memo. He has a song with Kanji on this one and I thought she couldnt sing any more because she is a lawyer! Watch for the Bread and Butter song with Radio and Weasel.

Black Na White_Slap Dee

Here is the Zambian hiphop album from Slap Dee that sparked a lot of respect and contraversy. There is no doubt that Slap Dee is the best there is, songs like goldigger make have won him fans. I pesonally think he is the JayZ of Zambia because he has that crossover appeal,he sells CDs and still he music is ghetto. Enjoy

Daimon Chain Yamu Local

I was about to go and sleep but what the hell,I have to leave you with something to talk about so I just had to post this tune. Its done by LB of Diamond Chain,a rap Record Label founded by Crisis,aka Mr Swagger.
Now see,Zed hip hop was a small part of the industry,and the few rappers who started out thought they would be alone in this. This tune is a wake up call to every vernacular rapper out there,LB killed it and whats worse,he even goes at Slap Dee and RuffKid,listen for yourself and prove me wrong. Its getting hot in the industry,everybody wants in.

Bakulu Banchito Ba Boyd Sage

Boyd Sage has done it again,though this time around there is no smash hit on this album to make him man of the moment.Never the less,this is a good all rounded album with songs that you can repeat a couple of times. I can honestley say its one of he best albums for 2010,this is Zambian music at its best. Looking at how consistent this guy is,this album is aptly named;its called Bakulu Banchito. The absense of features on this album proves that he can hold his own. True to this,he delivers though the beats sound sort of monotonous,but maybe thats just me;Its a Humbleness Touch Production,recorded at Afghanistan Studios in the heart of Lusaka.Dude is so good on the mic I dub him as the Wayne Wonder of Zambian music. I am yet to hear him do a whole song in English cuz he is real good when he sings in English. Listen to the promo offerings below to verify this fact.

Mafasho_Tommy D debut album

 I havent been doing Zambian hip hop some justice so I thought it would be nice to treat you to a classic Zambian hip hop album by Tommy D. It was released under Show Down Entertainment,that much is evident on most of the songs because they feature Runnel and his unmistakeable production is ever present all through out the album.
Tommy D has been on the scene for a long time even though he is not popping off like he should. As a dj I feel like he has so much potential and his style is so consistent that he should have gotten himself a wide fanbase by now. I dont know if we can blame that on his management or the fact that vernacular hip hop is a new trend in Zambian music circles and its yet to find a niche of its own.

Badman Wado!

Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you Badman Wado...and you will find out that the only thing bad about him is that he is talented.Aliko che bad mu wailer.!!! He goes by the name of Chris Wado,real name Christopher Austin Wado.
This South African based Ragga muffin was Born and and raised in Ndola,Zambia. He developed a strong interest in music when his elder brother and his friends formed a live performance band called 'Distro Kuomboka' which made and is still making a huge impact as they specialize in indeginous Zambian Music.After completing his O levels at Mpelembe and St. Andrews High Schools,he relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa where he is currently studying with UNISA,as well as horning his music skills.
He writes, Produces and Engineers all of his music at his own private recording studio. His not signed under any Marketing / Recording Label. His music heavily driven by reggae and a little touch of RnB.
His Inspirations include Reggae Greats like Sizzla, Cappleton, Cocoa Tea, Buju Banton, Red Rat, Wayne Wonder, Anthony B, Mad Cobra, Sean Paul, Mr Vegas and plenty more. Right now he is working on project which will be a double disc and will be called "Reggaelution" and "Blindfold Syndicate" respectively and was expected to drop in April 2010.
I certify him VCT..thats right,Very Capable and Talented.!!!!!
