I want to apologize for my not posting music regularly for the past 3 months. I've had no internet access and whatever songs I posted I did in internet cafes whenever I traveled to Lusaka.
I just paid for 2GB bandwidth of internet and I hope I can post as much music as I can because I have a lot to share.
On a rather sad note,Crystal Shaun passed away some three weeks ago and that did break my hear,he was a good musician who's lines much no other,I will do a dedication post for him soon.
Secondly,the Ngoma Awards took place a month ago and the Organized Family won an award for their song Koka Kola,which I must say made me proud to be a dj because their album is classic and I was telling everyone that even before the Award shows.
It seems hip hop is a breeding ground for beef,that much is manifest in the Zed music industry as Slap Dee and Macky 2 have gone all out on each other. You must know that the two artists have thrown jabs at each other on the past but this time around, Macky 2 actually shot a video dissing the whole XYZ camp,especially Slap Dee. This diss was sparked at the Born and Bred Video Awards when Slap Dee said 'Mu 2009 tinasamwa,namu 2010 tasamwa'. He was refering to a line in Macky 2's hit song '2010' where the Copperbelt MC said the Awards are riddled with Bribery and corruption. Look out for the diss on this blog.
